A penthouse defined by the space between things. The brief arrived simply: high floor, clear light, room to think. We removed everything that wasn't answering a question — walls came down where they belonged, materials stayed honest, and the city was given the prominence it had earned.

Views like this are not decoration. They are architecture. We worked around them rather than competing with them: the furniture stays low, the palette stays pale, the windows stay bare.

There is a particular quality of calm that belongs to high floors. This apartment has it, and was designed around nothing else.
