The brief for this penthouse was unusually precise: less of everything, but better. The client had lived with excess — too many materials, too many gestures — and wanted a space that felt like it had stopped trying. We agreed immediately.

The result is a home defined by what was removed. A single palette of warm stone and European oak runs through every room. Ceilings are high; furniture is low; joinery is seamless. The windows, which frame the city on two sides, were left deliberately unadorned — curtains only where privacy demanded them, linen and nothing else.

This is a penthouse that asks nothing of you when you walk in. It simply receives you.
