A private club residence where architecture and landscape were already in conversation before we arrived. Our task was to continue the dialogue inside — to bring the same quiet confidence indoors that the grounds already possessed.

The interiors are structured without being rigid. Common areas are generous and anchored by a central hearth; private spaces step back and compress, offering a counterpoint to the openness of the shared rooms. Materials follow the landscape: stone, raw plaster, dark-stained oak.

There is a particular pleasure in designing for people who entertain well. This client knew exactly how an evening should move through a house. We simply gave it room to do so.
